Troubleshooting

Where is Lock Drive after I double click the Lock Drive Icon on the Desktop?

The Lock Drive is auto hidden to the System Tray, located in the right bottom corner of your desktop. Left click the tray icon and click Show to enter the main interface.

When I clicked the zip drive, it prompts me with: “There is no Disk in Drive or Drive is not ready”? - and it can't be added to the Read Only List.

This is due to the nature of the native disk detection mechanism. You can use the up and down arrow keys on the keyboard to navigate to the drive you wanted to select, the same message will come again, click ok and then the drive will be highlighted in blue, then you can add it to the control list.

How come I can write to a CD/DVD using Nero or Roxio when Lock Drive is set to Read Only?

LockDrive only prevents the user writing to the CD or DVD using the native Windows XP CD/DVD writer. If you have Nero or Roxio installed on your machine - just ensure that the only authorised user for these programs has Administration rights.

How come my old Activation Code doesn't work any more?

Please check all your hardware components are functioning normally, if the problem persists, please contact us at www.i8tech.com/contact.htm
